Hand and Wrist Pain

Hand and wrist problems can make everyday things surprisingly difficult - opening a jar, doing up buttons, lifting a kettle, playing sport or simply using your hands without pain. At Flex Physiotherapy, our physiotherapists have well over 40 years of combined experience in treating hand and wrist injuries. We also have Accredited Hand Therapists, who have advanced training in the assessment and management of hand and wrist conditions, as well as post-graduate trained physiotherapists.

Not sure what's causing your pain? That's okay! Our first priority is to understand your symtpoms, examine the problem carefully and explain what we think is happening. We will then work with you to develop and implement a treatment plan that is specific to your individual situation and goals. Our physiotherapists can assess the whole upper limb, from your neck and shoulder through to your elbow, wrist, hand and fingers, helping us determine where your symtpoms may be coming from. We also look at the bigger picture, and can help you make sense of all the factors that might be contributing to your pain, beyond just your scans or diagnosis.

If you have just had surgery on your hand or wrist, Flex also offers expert post-operative rehabilitation. We have rooms both north and south of the river to provide care to you where every you live in Perth. Plus, our Telehealth video consultation service means we can provide many of our services to English-speaking patients wherever they live! If you're unsure whether physiotherapy or hand therapy is appropriate for your problem, contact us and our trained reception team can help triage your problem and work out the next steps.
